A two-story residential project in Miami's Westwood Lakes neighborhood that transforms an existing single-story structure through a vertical addition. The design preserves and reorganizes the home's spatial core: social areas and the master suite occupy the ground floor for comfort and ease of access, while secondary bedrooms and a generous open terrace extend across the upper level. A contemporary architectural vocabulary shapes the project throughout: clean volumes, neutral tones, and a material palette that alternates smooth and half-round (media caña) finishes to introduce texture and rhythm to the facade and interior surfaces.
