Studio Story

Cuevas Architecture+ was founded on a clear conviction: great architecture demands both creative vision and technical mastery. After years working at leading firms, Javier Cuevas identified a recurring gap: studios that designed beautifully but didn't fully understand how buildings are made, and builders with execution strength but limited design depth. CA+ was built to close that gap.

Today, we work across Miami and Ecuador. Designing homes, commercial environments, and mixed-use developments for clients who believe that design is non-negotiable. We bring together architectural vision and technical intelligence, ensuring every project is as carefully realized as it is designed.

OUR PERSPECTIVE

We see architecture as both a creative pursuit and a disciplined process. Aesthetics and technique are not competing priorities, they are inseparable. Every decision, whether it's a spatial relationship or a material choice, carries through to how the building performs and how it feels over time.

Javier Cuevas founded CA+ after years at leading architecture and design firms, where he developed a rare combination of design sensibility and deep technical knowledge. He built CA+ on the belief that the best architecture is neither purely creative nor purely technical, it is both, inseparably. Javier leads every project with the same standard: nothing gets left to chance, and every decision serves the design.

Based in Miami, he works across the United States and Ecuador with a vision to connect both markets through architecture that belongs to the places it inhabits.
