A covered terrace addition for a private residence in Miami-Dade, an outdoor social space designed for a family that needed a place to gather and receive guests without competing with what was already there. The design brief was precise: the new structure had to read as a natural extension of the existing home, not an addition on top of it. CA+ responded through careful attention to proportion and scale, a restrained material palette of concrete and natural wood, and a soft tone of cream and gray accented with agua green details.
